Dr. Steven Previte is from the Boston area and graduated from Boston College High School . He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Boston College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine where he graduated as a member of AOA, the national medical honor society. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston and then completed his urology training at Boston University Medical Center . Dr. Previte is an Associate Clinical Professor of Urology at Boston University School of Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Previte's interests include benign and malignant conditions of the prostate; kidney and ureteral stones, and benign and malignant conditions of the bladder. He has a special interest in benign prostatic hypertrophy and is a speaker and preceptor for the HoLAP laser procedure.
Dr. Previte is Board Certified in Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Previte enjoys sports and music. He has coached baseball and hockey for many years. He plays violin in the Reading Symphony Orchestra.
